Tender Loving Care Even For a Grouchy Puppy

My PL is very nice and every morning he cleans my eyes, if I have "goop" in them.  We have a routine now so that if he gets a tissue and says "okay let's clean your eye", I know to come running over, and sit up straight like a soldier while he gently wipes the gunk out.  Bonus: I get a treat after...shhh don't tell him but I don't need it.. I just like it.

Happy Father's Day

I love my PL and he loves me. Happy Father's Day to everyone. I hope you get the love you deserve, we all should, including us rescue pups.

I get lots of love and am grateful my PL was willing to step up and be a "father" and pack leader to me. His commitment has been pretty amazing and I can't believe it has been almost four years since he brought me home.

Sometimes I forget and act bossy but he always reminds me in such a nice way that he is PL and I am his baby grrl.  I appreciate his kindness and he knows it.  We are a lucky family.
