My toys entertain me. I use them to express my excitement when my people come home and my toys let me bite them, until my female has to take them away for washing because they are so dirty. Sigh. I love, love, love my plush toys and will always appreciate a new one to play with.
Here came K9 Cuisine who has a passion for dogs - even grouchy ones - and who very kindly sent me a nice box of their products to sample recently, including two toys. Eureka!! As my female unpacked the box on the kitchen counter, I could smell right away the meat samples through their plastic. But guess what I got to try first..one of the toys! Yippie!
Before my female could get everything out of the box and organized on the counter, I was sniffing the edges like a land shark looking for my prey.
I started to reach for the Multipet Support Our Troops Loofah for Dogs toy just as my female handed it over. Snatch! Grab! Score! My instinct told me to shake it and toss it around, which I did first. Very satisfying. Next I hunkered down and quickly begin my search for its business end the squeak - my favorite.
As a dog who takes her job of protecting her Pack Leader (PL) and Female seriously, I appreciate knowing that Multipet International is donating a portion of the proceeds to support the troops. Here is the clear scoop from K9 Cuisine's site:
Dogs have become our new heroes of War. They have served along side our troops for the Department of Defense since World War I. Not only are they trained to protect their comrades, but also provide companionship to our troops, who are thousands of miles away from friends and family. Multipet International will donate a portion of all proceeds to help support our troops.
What I liked: His hat didn't come off when I bit it, several times. I discovered a squeaker on both the neck and the butt!! Nice touch. With this toy being 18 inches I started to get frustrated when I didn't get a squeak - then SURPRISE - another squeaker with a different sound! I liked that.
What I don't like: Nothing so far and the camouflage pattern of its uniform hides my saliva! My female though did feel a little strange having me maul a toy in uniform.
What it cost my PL: Free
What it costs online today: $6.69
Grouchy Puppy rating: 5 out of 5 paws

Nice German Shepherd, my black & red Neo also has a couple of loofah sponge chew toys. Have a great photo of him last year at Halloween href="http://www.durableman.com">here. Dressed up as Marylin
